Terms of Equipment Usage:
These conditions must be carefully read, and you must acknowledge your agreement to be permitted use of heavy equipment for New Orleans Jazz Festival 2026.
• All operators must be approved in advance and possess the appropriate certifications and a valid driver’s license where applicable.
• By operating heavy equipment, you acknowledge that you are properly trained and certified to operate the assigned equipment safely and in accordance with all applicable regulations.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
• No operation under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• No use of mobile devices while operating equipment.
• Operate equipment only within designated areas and for intended purposes.
• No reckless or unsafe operation.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings, including personnel and obstacles.
• Follow all posted signage and site traffic patterns.
• All incidents, damages, or malfunctions must be reported immediately.
• Only authorized operators are permitted to use equipment.
• Ensure proper shutdown and securing of equipment when not in use.
• Conduct basic safety checks prior to operation (fuel levels, visible damage, etc.).
WHEN RETURNING:
• Remove all personal belongings and debris.
• Return equipment to the designated area.
• Report any issues or damages upon return.
Any operator who violates these rules RISKS LOSING ALL OPERATING PRIVILEGES, even for a first offense.
